Want to Get Involved with supporting the Navy SEAL Community?? The time is now!!
You have until the end of Military Family Month (November) to complete your 5K (3.1 miles).
It is Simple and Fun! We need your help to ensure that no one goes it alone!

How do you participate in the Freedom Frog 5K Virtual Event??
A virtual event is one that can be completed where ever you are located.
You can, but don't have to, run in the streets. You can walk around your neighborhood, walk or run on a treadmill in your home or gym, you can swim laps until you reach 3.1 miles, or some participants have kayaked, skated, or danced their way to 5K. Feel free to Ruck your way to the 5K.
You can participate in a local 5K event and get credit for the Freedom Frog 5K too!
You are invited to go big and exceed 5K (3.1 miles)…give what you can and then give a little more.

Who can participate in the Challenge?
Anyone! Kids, Furry K9 Warriors, the entire family... However, in order to receive the highly coveted Race Medal, you must be a paid registrant of the 2019 Freedom Frog 5K!

TEAMS
Why not support the SEAL Teams with a Team of your friends-family-neighbors-classmates-teammates-co-workers?? Do you have a school sports team you can gather up? Maybe a community service club?
**If you want to organize a local event and have medals ready for the finish line, contact us to help make it a photo finish reality!

If you are already running another race, you can pin this to your back so everyone running around you can provide encouragement to you and gain inspiration for themselves!

What will you earn? Unique Medal as a reminder of your commitment to get involved and support the United Sates Navy SEAL Community. Many former participants are hooking the Race Fin to their key chains and have built a nice collection from each year's unique medal. Show it off, Create Conversations and Get Others involved!

The Inspiration behind this year's unique fin: Honor The Legacy of the Frogmen.

The Navy SEALs Fund - Brotherhood Beyond Battlefield® has been supporting all generations of UDT/Navy SEALs since the IRS granted our 501c3 designation in 2009. That is Ten Years of dedication supporting the UDT/Navy SEAL Community!

We support Active Duty, Reserve, Former, Retired UDT/SEALs and their immediate family members, inclusive of Gold Star Families. We provide support regardless of Pre or Post-911.

There would be no SEAL Teams if not for the dedication and sacrifices of our brave Forefathers. The Navy SEALs Fund - Brotherhood Beyond Battlefield® takes great pride in honoring and providing assistance to these Gen 1 SEALs. We Will Never Forget!

Summary from Military.com: To meet the need for a beach reconnaissance force, selected Army and Navy personnel assembled at Amphibious Training Base, Little Creek, on 15 August 1942 to begin Amphibious Scouts and Raiders (Joint) training. The Scouts and Raiders mission was to identify and reconnoiter the objective beach, maintain a position on the designated beach prior to a landing and guide the assault waves to the landing beach.

The first group included Phil H. Bucklew, the "Father of Naval Special Warfare," after whom the Naval Special Warfare Center building is named. Commissioned in October 1942, this group saw combat in November 1942 during OPERATION TORCH, the first allied landings in Europe, on the North African coast. Scouts and Raiders also supported landings in Sicily, Salerno, Anzio, Normandy, and southern France.
